The Opening of All Happy Now.

New Paintings

In the Spring of 2008, after beginning planning and fundraising in 2001 and breaking ground in 2004, "All Happy Now", the 100' diameter ziggurat of formed earth, grass and redwood bender board located in the Humboldt Botanical Gardens finall had it's Opening Celebration.

Work in Studio: Continuing oil on canvas and panel projects begun the late 1990's.
Attempting to use the same image making techniques started in 1994 with tinted sand on the floor, I stopped using brushes which seemed to be a key.
Using tiny palette knives mimicked the feel of the mason's trowels which I had so enjoyed using while laying out sand.
